Currently, many provinces and cities have achieved high rates of COVID-19 vaccine coverage for people of vaccination age, many people exposed to people confirmed with COVID-19 (hereinafter referred to as F1 individuals) have been fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19. For timely adjustments to COVID-19 prevention and control measures, the Ministry of Health (the standing agency of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control) proposes the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the Departments of Health and related units to implement the following:

1. For those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (green pass on the electronic health book or certificate of full vaccination issued by a competent authority), and whose last dose has been received at least 14 days before and no later than 6 months, or those who have recovered from COVID-19 within 6 months before the time when they are considered as F1 individuals (with hospital discharge note/certificate of recovery from COVID-19): quarantine at home/accommodation for 7 days (if fully qualified) and do health self-observation for 7 subsequent days. Comply with 5K rules, immediately report any suspected symptoms of cough, fever, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of taste, etc., to the health authority for further actions as prescribed; get RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test 2 times (the first time at the beginning of quarantine, the second time on the 7th day).

2. Direct the strict management and supervision of quarantine to ensure pandemic control protocols; regularly check and monitor the implementation.
