DECISION

ON EMPOWERING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF SOC TRANG PROVINCE TO ISSUE DECISION ON ESTABLISHING THE SECONDARY SCHOOL OF COMPLEMENTARY PALI EDUCATION IN SOUTHERN VIETNAM

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September 1992;
At the proposals of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province and the Government Agency on Khmer Affairs in Southern Vietnam;
Considering the suggestions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the related Government committees and services on the establishment of a secondary school of complementary Pali education in Southern Vietnam,

DECIDES:

1. To empower the President of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province to issue decision on the establishment of the Secondary School of Complementary pali Education in Southern Vietnam, and place it under the direct management of the Education and Training Service of Soc Trang province. The School has the task of providing both complementary education (from level I to level III) and literacy classes in Pali and Khmer languages in order to train cadres of the Khmer ethnic group for Southern Vietnam plain.

2. The Secondary School of Complementary Pali education in Southern Vietnam is entitled to all regimes accorded to other boarding schools for people of ethnic minority groups.

The Ministry of Education and Training has the task to guide provinces which wish to send their students to the school to work out recruitment plans and plans for financing the school in the discharge of its training duties.
