THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Goods Quality of December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 22/CP of May 22, 1993 on the tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology);
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 147/2002/QD-TTg of October 25, 2002 on the mechanism for administration and management of the import, export, manufacture and assembly of motorcycles and their accessories in the 2003-2005 period;
Proceeding from the Prime Minister’s direction in Official Dispatch No. 260/CP-KG of March 11, 2003 assigning the Ministry of Science and Technology to promulgate the list of motorcycles and their engines and accessories subject to compulsory application of Vietnamese standards;
After reaching agreement with the Ministry of Communications and Transport on the list of motorcycles and their engines and accessories subject to compulsory application of standards;
At the proposal of the General Director of Measurement, Metrology and Quality Control,
DECIDES:
The effective time of application of the standards is prescribed in the list promulgated together with this Decision. This list shall be supplemented and/or amended according to the management requirements in each period.
