AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING JOINT CIRCULAR NO. 03/2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA OF MARCH 31, 2006, OF THE MINISTRY OF TRADE, THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT, THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SECURITY, GUIDING THE IMPORT OF USED MOTOR CARS OF LESS THAN 16 SEATS UNDER THE GOVERNMENT'S DECREE NO. 12/2006/ND-CP OF JANUARY 23,2006

THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 1'89/200/7ND-CP of December 27, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry- and Trade;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 12/ 2006/ND-CP of January 23, 2006, detailing the implementation of the Commercial Law regarding international goods trading and goods trading agency, processing and transit with foreign parties;
After consulting the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Security, the Minister of Industry and Trade amends and supplements Joint Circular No. 03/ 2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA of March 31, 2006, of the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Security, guiding the import of used motor cars of less than 16 seats under the Government's Decree No. 12/2006/ND-CP of January 23, 2006, as follow:

Article 1. Amendment and supplementation

- To amend and supplement Clause 2. Section III regarding import and circulation registration procedures as follow:

"2. Used cars may be imported into Vietnam only through the international border seaports of Cai Lan - Quang Ninh province. Hai Phong. Da Nang. Ho Chi Minh City, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Customs procedures shall be carried out at border gates of importation."

- To amend the phrase "Ministry of Trade" into "Ministry of Industry and Trade."

This Circular takes effect 45 days from the date of its signing.

Other provisions of Joint Circular No. 03/ 2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA remain effective.-
