DECISION

ON THE AMENDMENT OF PARAGRAPH 2, ARTICLE 9 OF THE "REGULATION ON THE ORGANISATION AND OPERATION OF THE FOREIGN CURRENCY INTER-BANK MARKET" ISSUED IN CONJUNCTION WITH DECISION NO. 101/1999/QD-NHNN13 DATED 26 MARCH, 1999 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK

THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated 12 December, 1997 and the Law on the Credit Institutions No. 02/1997/QH10 dated 12 December, 1997;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 15 CP dated 02 March, 1993 of the Government on the assignment, authority and responsibility for the State management of the ministries and ministry-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 63/1998/ND-CP dated 17 August, 1998 of the Government on foreign exchange control;
Upon the proposal of the Director of the Monetary Policy Department,

DECIDES

Article 1. To amend paragraph 2, Article 9 of the "Regulation on the organisation and operation of the foreign currency inter-bank market" issued in conjunction with Decision No. 101/1999/QD-NHNN13 dated 26 March, 1999 of the Governor of the State Bank as follows:

"The transaction exchange rates between other convertible foreign currencies (other than US$) and VND shall be determined by the General Directors (Directors) of member credit institutions".

Article 2. This Decision shall be effective 15 days from the date of signing.
