GUIDING THE ROUTES FOR TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS IN TRANSIT THROUGH THE VIETNAMESE TERRITORY

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 187/2013/ND-CP of December 20, 2013, detailing the implementation of the Commercial Law regarding international goods sale and purchase and goods sale, purchase, processing and transit agency activities with foreign parties;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 107/2012/ND-CP of December 20, 2012, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the proposal of the director of the Transport Department,

The Minister of Transport promulgates the Circular to guide the routes for transportation of goods in transit through the Vietnamese territory.

Article 1. Scope of regulation

This Circular guides routes of transportation and pairs of Vietnam’s border gates used for transportation of goods in transit through the Vietnamese territory.

Article 2. Subjects of application

This Circular applies to organizations and individuals involved in the transportation of goods in transit between Vietnam and foreign countries.

Article 3. Routes and border gates for transportation of goods in transit

The transportation of goods in transit through the Vietnamese territory must be carried out along routes and via pairs of border gates provided in the Appendix to this Circular. (not translated)

Article 4. Effect

This Circular takes effect on August 1, 2014.

Article 5. Implementation responsibility and organization of implementation

The Director of the Ministry Office, the chief inspector of the Ministry of Transport, directors of the Departments, the director of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam, the director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, the director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the director of the Vietnam Inland Waterway Administration, the director of the Vietnam Railway Administration, directors of provincial-level Departments of Transport, heads of agencies, and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular.-
